A twelve-passenger van was purchased by the Piankoff and Bancarz families pictured on the left. From Sacramento, CA to Kyiv, Ukraine, this van was shipped to Morning Star School to transport students through the bustling streets of Kyiv. Photo below shows faculty and students with their new van that came all the way from California.
Since the van needed to be shipped to Ukraine, we decided to fill the
vehicle with all kinds of treats for the kids. Donations were sent in and we
went shopping. Books, school supplies, soccer balls, matching athletic clothing, sidewalk chalk, large puppets and backpacks for each of the student were included in the shipment.
Thanks to the Carmichael SDA Church and their tax-deductible fund, we are able to send 100% of your donations directly to the school. There are no administration fees taken out of any donation.
